It was a fantastic weekend and even before we left the island, we were talking about coming back again. Next year. April. It’s a date 😉
We ordered from the same stall as before, the 999 Seafood stall. The salted egg crab was a disappointment. The crabs were deep-fried till they were too dry and you couldn’t get much meat out of them.
We paid RP 790,000 per couple (S$105) for 3 hours of scrub, mask and aroma massage. We were taken to rooms upstairs and I remember climbing so many flights of stairs that I forgot which floor hubby and I were on. But there were bathrooms/toilets on each floor and each individual room has an attached shower room.
The Swiss Belinn is less than 10 mins drive from the Habour Bay terminal. It is a small hotel that goes up to 5-storey high but has a service apartment next to it. The hotel reception staff are friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check in even when we were very early.
Yep, the LZBs (Lau Za Bor’s – Old Ladies) and LTBs (Lao Ta Bo’s – Old Men) were back in Batam again over the last weekend…
